The Outer Village IV

Welcome to a new year where we once again invite to the outer gathering in deep-end and alternative electronica @ Underwerket in Copenhagen.

We have packed a program of local artists who dwelve in unique crafts and have something distinct to add to the story of the scene. On the day, we are also releasing OVA016 from Outer Village native artist M-71, which we can't wait to showcase.

MARY HARP

Mary Harp combines gritty elements from jungle and hardcore with soothing soul and musicality. With tracks like Something About You and her latest release Movin' Up, a bass-weighty hybrid between jungle and liquid drum and bass unfolds for a soulful and original sound out of the Copenhagen bass scene.

LIMINAL STATE (LIVE)

We re-invite Liminal State to a new type of live concept. This time he has prepared a set in more harmonic endeavours that is still truthful to his experimental engagement with synthesis and glitchy beat smithing.

FSM (LIVE)

FSM is a newcomer ambient artist, who dwells in storytelling with analogue synth in a live format. FSM had his first release on new DK label Glasvinge last year, where an explorative approach to sound interaction become the focal point in minimalistic measures.

CLOCKWISE (SE)

Clockwise is a newcomer artist out of the drum and bass scene in Sweden, native to the Bass Blasted crew. Clockwise’ style is minimal and versatile with a special interest in serene soundscapes with emotions of longing.

RAYGAM SAMAT

RAYGAM SAMAT delivers heavy-hitting outputs in darker styles of drum and bass. He is a core founder and member of the Copenhagen-based experimental bass crew Bass Lobotomy, who pushes the scene in genres such as darkstep, breakcore and neurofunk.

What is Outer Village?

Outer Village is a Copenhagen-based estate of electronic artists with common grounds in pushing deep-end electronica. It’s a collective of producers with an experimental outlook on deep-end electronica in all of its diversity. Our goal is to push the limits and bring light to lesser known artists, local and beyond. A crucial part of our identity is an insistence on an eclectic approach, encouraging original styles across genres.
