Step On Stage (S.O.S) once again invites you to an evening of music created and performed by Denmark’s emerging talents. As always, we strive to create a safe space where all artists can step onto the stage, perform live for you, and share their music with the world.

Freja Malou:
Freja Malou is a 23 year old self producing artist, who integrates her trade as a producer as a central part of her artistic expression. Her sound is a mashup of the synth-pop-nostalgia of the 2010’s and the current climate of club-clear electronic productions. Think snappy synths, 909 claps and catchy hooks, all packeged in a vulnerable bedroom-pop aesthetic.

With inspiration from names like PinkPantheress and Addison Rae, Freja Malou seamlessly intertwines her sound and visual identity. It’s honest and vulnerable with a 2010’s trashy producer style. Her lyrics tells of challenges with herself and the world around. She creates an echo chamber for the chaos of being in your early 20’s.

ØÖRESUND:
ØÖRESUND is a dynamic popduo made up of Josefin from Denmark and Charlotte from Sweden. With a unique mix of danish and swedish lyrics they invite their listeners into an emotional universe. Their music explores themes like love, heartbreak and the complexity of relationships in all aspects, from romantically to platonically and everything in between.

Their debutsingle “Ønsker du var Straight” was especially made for the broken hearted, where a melancholic but catchy beat creates an experience you won’t soon forget. Since their debut single, ØÖRESUND has released another seven singles, including a reinterpretation of Johnny Deluxe’s “Drømmer Jeg”. The duo has since been played a dozen times on Denmarks P4 and has been on Spotifys New Music Friday.

ØÖRESUNDs music is the perfect combination of language and feeling, which makes them a unique name on the Scandinavian popscene. Experience their world, where pain and happiness meet in a harmonic melody.

STANIE:
STANIE is a Danish duo consisting of Kastanie Blicher and Sigurd Siersted. The duo operates within an electronic pop universe where hyperpop, electro, and drum’n’bass merge with vulnerable Danish-language lyrics.

Inspired by digital worlds and arcade games, STANIE creates music about life’s transitions – those moments when you lose your footing and find hope again. The playful aesthetic contrasts with an underlying melancholy, giving the music both edge and depth.

On stage, STANIE works with a visual and theatrical expression that draws the audience into another universe. The result is an intense and immersive live experience where electronic pop, storytelling, and performance meet.
