The Outer Village V: Excursions EP Release

For our 5th edition of The Outer Village we are once again fulfilling a roster of bright talent in depthful electronica. We are proud to present our new Various Artists EP series Excursions, which is a concept similar to our previous Interlocked series, but in a more compact format to showcase new artists who bring something distinct to the electronics table.

Jakob Planch is a soundsmith who engages in musical abstractions through experimentation with synthesis in highly melodic measures. His track Visco on the Excursions EP exposes storytelling flair in highly detailed textures. For this evening, Jakob Planch is bringing his Live-set to Underwerket, so expect a thorough performance of glitch, synth and audio warp in a household lesson of electronic brilliance.

Newcomer SPNR has been revealing himself as none other than the chosen one to watch in the Copenhagen bass music scene. With his most recent release on Solumn Records, SPNR exposes his rhythmical fluency and craftsmanship in tracks that linger in strong listenability.

:ibe & DJ VIcksy are household DJs of the collective Bass Blasted, situated in Lund, Sweden. In the last couple of years, they have pushed the deeper ends of drum and bass in Sweden through a variety of events with focus on community building, which is something we highly admire.

Emdex is a new DJ out of the Copenhagen bass scene, who develops her craft in versatility with aimed focus of call-to-arms inducing, energetic selections. Expect a darker set from Emdex on this special occasion.

Mørika is a revered drum and bass artist out of the Copenhagen scene, who aims for raw and cutting edge in-your-face breakbeats with a strong understanding of flow and development in a DJ set. Mørika will end the evening off in great manners with a set of, at its core, powerfulness at 175.
