This week will be a special workshop making traditional noodle Udon and sweet dumplings Dango from scratch.

Udon is a noodle commonly eaten in Japan. It is made from wheat flour, and it is thick and soft compared to other kinds of noodles. Various types of soup and toppings exists, traditional and new, also regional specialties.

Mapo Tofu Køkken

We will hold a workshop cooking Mapo Tofu. 

The main ingredient of it is Tofu, and it is seasoned by Douban sauce which gives a nice spicy taste. Though Mapo Tofu is spicier in the original Chinese recipe, it evolved into a milder taste using miso and mirin in the Japanese home cooking. You can see how to use the seasonings too cook the dish with all the ingredients available in Copenhagen.
